World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates
The Permanent Secretariat of the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates organises annual summits in locations across the globe as a platform to consolidate peace efforts and strengthen global security. The Secretariat also focuses on education programmes, peace building and networking.
The World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates required an update to their website. The previous site was not optimised for mobile devices and required a new look and feel.

Inspired Publications was introduced to the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates by one of our existing clients, the FW De Klerk Foundation. We were approached to upgrade the website for the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates by optimising it for mobile access and ensuring a more user-friendly experience. Closer inspection revealed that the site required further restructuring to improve user navigation and the archiving of information from previous summits.
Create a user-friendly website that is optimised for mobile access. Include an archive section that is only accessible via sign-in, thereby enabling the organisation to expand their database and grow their audiences.
A revamped website that is easy to navigate and use, thereby helping the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates to communicate effectively with their audiences and build new contacts and online communities.
What we did
Inspired Publications provided the following services:
- Restructured the website to ensure easier navigation. This entailed approaching the site from the perspective of the typical user – what did they want from the website and how were they being directed on the site?
- Divided the website into a main site and archive section, ensuring that information from previous summits remained available, but did not “clutter” the main site.
- Implemented gated access (available on provision of an email address) for the archive section, thereby enabling the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates to expand their database.
- Adapted the content of the website to meet the needs of the Covid-19 era, in which global gatherings are limited.
The revamped website for the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates is optimised for mobile, user-friendly and easy to navigate. The site has also been restructured to allow for focus areas beyond the annual summits, such as education programmes, peacekeeping initiatives, interaction with sponsors and support for members of their global network.
